Artist's Comments

I was so blown away that :icontheeviltwin: did an image of Green Radiance, I decided I would spend time I really didn't have and do an image of one of his characters, Mechanika. Being a sucker for redheads, this one was fun to do and it gave me a chance to work on shading areas of her that did not render well. Also, Aiko (the base model used) has a lousy set of chops so any image showing her teeth requires work. This is another area I really need to practice on. Basically, I would say I need to work on my postwork skills in general and this image gave me a chance to do that.

I really like the look of Mechanika but have no clue what her deal is (construction worker, tech superhero, etc) so I put her on a partially built highrise. Took some liberties on the clothing a bit but that was for no other reason than well, you know.

Thanks man. I had fun doing it. She's a departure from the typically thin women I do so it was a nice change of pace.

Sure. The picture took longer to make than I thought it was going to take. I really liked the character so I wanted to make sure it was just right.

Oops...I fergot to tell.....Mekanika is a Robot Mechanic from 2 days into the future.....she id totally into hardware and robo hacks...dead cute and commands an army of robos...!
