Being a big Marvel Comics fan and never a big reader of DC comics as a kid, I had no clue who Power Girl was till I came here. I honestly thought it was someone's toon from COH. Then I thought, "Sure is a lot of fan art for one character and no one stepping up to say thanks for doing my toon". Eventually figured out she was a comic book hero. After doing some research on her, it seems a shame DC couldn't/didn't do more with her. (btw, the whole Earth 2 thing was stupid).
Anyway, here is my take on Power Girl. Seems like she's had 2 types of capes, a full cape and a left shoulder cape. I like the full version better. Just not crazy about the gold cord running diagonal across her body on the left shoulder version. Other than that, took a bit of license with her belt and chest cutout. Speaking of chests, I originally liked the nipples but now I'm kinda "meh" about em. Don't get me wrong, I like nipples as much as the next guy, especially those with super powers. I'm just not sure they work here. I don't know that I'll change it though. Once I'm done, I get kinda bored and want to move on.
I'm not a huge fan of adding nipple imprints on most of my drawings these days. They're realistic, but they bring about unnecessary and gratuitous attention to breasts and don't do anything to make a female character anymore beautiful (in fact, sometimes less) than she would be without the detail. Those, and her facial expression, turn me off of this one, but the rest I like, especially the pose.

Thanks. Actually, it would be pretty easy. Just re-render and replace the old layer with the new one in PSP. I may, I don't know. I'm still on the fence about it.
Thanks for the feedback. Gratuitous attention to breasts is okay, it's when they start charging that really irritates me.... I'm kidding, I'm kdding. Seriously though, I guess my issue is along the lines of your point, I just don't know if they add anything. Well, they add plenty, just maybe not what I'm looking for in this image.
As far as the expression goes, I've come to realize that I'm on another planet from most people when it comes to expressions. Most folks tend to not like what I do. This may be another example of that
Well, I don't know how the program you're using works, but a good way to get a handle of facial expressions is simply to pay attention to real folks, and some cartoons and comics that have an art style you like. Looking at something that interests you will make it easier to study and get something from it.
You do good work, keep it up.
